For food enthusiasts across the land of Yorkshire, there is one place and one place only you need to be at. And that is The North Leeds Food Festival. It’s back, it’s hungry, and so am I drooling whilst staring at their exhibitor line-up.
So, what exactly am I talking about? Let me introduce you to…

So now tell me everything: The festival is crammed full of all the goodies with apparently over 150 exhibitors and performers, 31 cuisines to pick from, 8 bars to keep yourself hydrated, 2 huge artisan markets to treat yourself to, dessert stations (need I say more?), plenty of kids activities, funfairs and deck chairs, a well-being area and art displays. Plus, free parking.
AND BREATH! That was a mouthful…
If you do dare to tempt yourself, you can see the full list of artisan traders here and the epic line-up of street food here. Warning, they sound very, very tempting, with a lot of names that I recognise and look forward to devouring. The only real problem will be picking who to visit next.
With a scorcher of a Saturday, it’s going to be a wonderful day of delightful weather and good vibes, an abundance of food and many waterholes to visit. Now the contemplation begins around suitable day attire and the best snack bag to pack so that we can bring home all the treats for later.
If sadly you can’t join in on the fun this weekend, the Ilkley and Harrogate food festival will be on in June, with more events planned until September.
