Just when you think Leeds has enough food stops, shabam, another one opens. For a foodie like me, this is a dream come, and decision making just a little bit hard. My list of places I still need to try continues.New to the food scene is Taco Bell. Yeah you heard correctly, the Mexican inspired fast food chain has opened up in the St Johns Centre, and will be serving up tacos, burritos, nachos, and other delights from AM to PM.
The menu is lip-smacking, offering a perfect choice for those in need of a quick nibble, a feast and a half, or even a boozy bite.Serving up loaded fries, soft chicken tacos, beefy crunchwraps, the Leeds branch also offers something for the thirsty. As well as their soda machine, bottles of Sol and Twisted Freeze’s (for us kidults who love the idea of a slosh-worthy slush puppy) are available too.And as for a Tuesday, well you may want to save these evening for Taco Bell, as Taco Tuesday is a thing, and it may very much change your choice of dining. I’ll leave it at one sentence- a taco and beer, on a Tuesday, is two pounds.
For you guys with a sweet tooth, Taco Bell also offers a a trio of desserts, and if chocolate’s your thing, then this is the place for you. Melted chocolate chips served up in flour wraps are the chocadilla and chocomarsh melt (comes with melted marshmallows too), and how can you say no to churro? All three come with extra dipping chocolate. Say what? So there we have it, Taco Bell is here in Leeds, serving up some absolute delights. And if you end up need a pick-me-up after a heavy weekend, you can stop by until 3AM, where you’ll be able to indulge in Mexican nibbles and thirst quenchers.
